Hand-Colored Wood Species Study c.1890 in Antique Frame
$595.00
Description
A set of three circa 1890 hand-colored wood species studies, each illustrating the distinctive grain and figuring of different woods in a beautifully muted palette of ochre, rust, blush, blue, and brown.
The three original studies have been custom framed together with linen matting, individual gilt surrounds, and an antique walnut frame with aged gilt detailing. A truly one-of-a-kind piece that feels equally at home in a traditional interior or mixed among more modern art.
Vintage and antique items may show age-appropriate wear and patina consistent with their history. All sales are final.
